Inaugural Founders Award Recipients Share Their Best Advice for Success

Many extraordinary RE/MAX pioneers played critical roles in the early survival, eventual growth and continued success of the network. During the R4 Opening General Session, Liniger honored four of them – Dennis Curtin, Frank Polzler, Walter Schneider, and Gail Liniger – with the inaugural Founders Award.

Host Brian Buffini asked each of them for the key to their success.

The belief that you can change somebody’s life. And that’s exactly what real estate people do in their communities. I believe that’s the key.”Dennis Curtin, President, RE/MAX Mid-States & Dixie

Give unconditionally. When you give, you get it back in spades.”Walter Schneider, President and Co-Founder, RE/MAX INTEGRA

Never give up. Keep selling.”Frank Polzler, Chairman and Co-Founder, RE/MAX INTEGRA

Gail Liniger offered her gratitude to the over-115,000 RE/MAX Affiliates in the network.

Thank you for all you do for RE/MAX and helping to make it the No. 1 real estate network in the world.”

Dave Liniger also offered words of wisdom.

Fall in love with what you do, because if you’re in love with what you do, you never go to work. It’s a passion. Being in love with something, you work forever to make it better.”
