R4 is far from a one-size-fits-all event. It’s designed to provide you with the latest insight and powerful connections – whatever your interests, goals or level of experience may be.
Just take it from father-daughter duo Al Limon, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Integrity in Camarillo, California, and Chantelle Limon, the brokerage’s Director of Marketing. Having attended almost a decade’s worth of R4 conventions, they each bring a different perspective but come to the same conclusion: R4 has something for everyone.
Here’s what they say you’ll find February 25-28 in Las Vegas.
For the collaborator:
Al: Go to R4 with the intention of making new friends, networking and being open to learning new ideas. Ask questions of your fellow Affiliates about how to improve your business. We all bring different experiences and, through conversation, we all learn.
Chantelle: Continually attending R4 helps us to improve our business. The exchange of ideas – of fresh and creative strategies that we’ve learned from one another – has motivated us to grow.
For the uninitiated:
Al: We started going to R4 when we were new to RE/MAX. Other brokers shared their positive experiences with us and we wanted to be part of the excitement. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been with RE/MAX, you’ll find something valuable at the convention.
Chantelle: The first time I went to R4 I decided to go to because the agenda was packed with both educational opportunities and fun events. Every year I go back looking forward to meeting new people. This year, I cannot wait to see Tim McGraw!
For the tech-savvy:
Chantelle: One of the most valuable parts of R4 is the face-to-face training with the RE/MAX Technology team. It’s great to be able to ask them questions in person and learn tips and tricks to pass on to our agents.
For the future video star:
Al: Video is becoming critical as a marketing tool, and I’ve learned a lot from the breakout sessions at R4. Don’t worry about how you look on camera – you’ll look great. Just do it!
Chantelle: One of my favorite R4 memories is when we made our first YouTube video together in 2011. RE/MAX had a booth set up for agents to use, fully equipped with professional cameras, microphones and a teleprompter with a prepared script. When we sat down in front of the camera, I told my dad, ‘Let’s go rogue!’ We recorded without a script, on the fly.
For those ready to take advantage of everything:
Al: Four things stand out to me as the most valuable at R4: The fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the Global Referral Exchange, the awesome keynote speakers and the valuable networking. It’s always great to see the friends I’ve made over the years and to bring home more educational nuggets.
