With over $108 million in sales last year, the Gayla Gayden Team was perfectly suited for a more productive environment. They found a great fit at RE/MAX.

When they were with Keller Williams, members of a top-producing Texas team heard the typical myths about RE/MAX. The reality they discovered was a much different – and better – story.
In March, Glen Gayden and three colleagues left Keller Williams’ Topmark Realty Team, which ranked No. 3 by closed sales volume on the Houston Business Journal’s Top 25 list of real estate teams in the Houston metro area.
Billed as the Gayla Gayden Team – Gayla is Glen’s mother – the group found support, training, productive agents, a stronger brand and much more at their new office, RE/MAX Grand in Katy, Texas.
The Gayla Gayden Team closed more than 300 transaction sides for over $108 million in sales volume in 2014. And their profile has risen exponentially with the RE/MAX Balloon behind them.
“It made total sense to match our team’s good name with a global real estate leader like RE/MAX.” Glen Gayden
“It made total sense to match our team’s good name with a global real estate leader like RE/MAX,” Glen Gayden says. “Our new Brokers are very accessible. They take care of things without all the red tape we’re used to.”
The move to RE/MAX has provided a real boost, according to Gayla Gayden.
“One of the top reasons we moved to RE/MAX is the brand name,” Gayla Gayden says. “You see the yard signs and advertising for RE/MAX everywhere. I wanted our clients to know we went with a strong company with a well-known name and the best visibility. You see yard signs for RE/MAX everywhere.Click To Tweet
“It took many years of hard work to reach our level of success. There’s no secret formula to it. We’ve built a strong reputation by being fair and doing right by our agents and clients.”
The move also boosted local RE/MAX market share, says RE/MAX Grand Owner/Associate Robert Ricketts. More than 65 percent of RE/MAX Grand agents are in the Executive Club or higher each year.
“We’ve created a society of top producers in our office, and we’ve done that by making ourselves accessible,” Ricketts says. “It’s a culture of collaboration.”
For members of the Gayla Gayden Team, the move to RE/MAX has been a positive step forward in their careers. Mike Spacek, who joined the team as a new agent two years ago, says his clients are thrilled to have the brand exposure RE/MAX offers in more than 95 countries worldwide.
“Clients love it, and I love it, too,” Spacek says. “I was misled into thinking that RE/MAX was a big franchise out to rip you apart if you weren’t a top producer, and that’s not even close to what I’ve seen. Everyone is so positive and everyone works hard; it keeps me focused and wanting to do better.”
